Neurology Consultation Services:

Faculty specialists of the Harbor-UCLA Department of Neurology and the Division of Pediatric Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, provide comprehensive and personalized consultation for patients with diseases of the nervous system. Consultative services are available for the following conditions: Alzheimers Disease and other dementias, cerebrovascular disease, cysticercosis, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, neuropathological disorders, Parkinsons Disease and seizure disorders. Tests and procedures available on a referral basis include EEG monitoring and CCTV, computerized EEG frequency analysis with topographic mapping, EMG and nerve conduction, lumbar puncture and muscle biopsy procedures. Specialized Pediatric Neurology consultations and evaluations are also available.
